I have been In Business for 15 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Electronics Design and Development for Industrial, Aerospace and Consumer Electronics Applications.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My interest in becoming a business owner was feeling that I could contribute to industry better working as a business owner than as an engineer working at a large corporation. My degree is BSEE( Bachelor of Science) from Cleveland State University and have been practicing every sense as a design engineer. First in some major corporations such as Crane and Honeywell as well as some small companies and then feeling the need to expand what I could do going into business for myself as a Consulting Engineer.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My Difference is that I care about the customer and that my efforts are thorough. When I take on a project, every effort is spent to give the customer his money and then some for what is wants to achieve on the project. Areas of specialty include magnetics, switching power supplies, motor controls, battery charging, high voltage electronics up to 1000V to date, digital logic design with Cplds, embedded controllers and detailed fine analog electronics design. My circuits and simulated in Spice prior to being placed in a circuit board to verify that they will work.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently, one location. Expansion will be possible with the addition of other engineers in the future
