How long have you been in business?
Since we opened the salon in 2005, we have been committed to perfecting the latest trends and state of the art hair extension techniques and services by regularly attending industry trade shows, advanced training classes and educational events.
What is your primary product or service?
Extensions can be used to add length, volume and color to your hair.
The first step is a free consultation to determine if hair extensions are right for you. Consultations usually take about 20 minutes. After taking a thorough history of your hair and answering any questions you may have, we will work with you to determine which type of extension would help you achieve your desired look. We will place a free sample in your hair at the consultation so that you can try it out and see how it feels. We want you to be confident in your choice prior to making the commitment and investment in extensions. We match the color and texture exactly so that the extensions will be virtually undetectable from your natural hair.
If you want to have your extensions put in the same day as your consultation, we can usually accommodate your request. We carry a large selection of hair and have most colors and textures in stock at all times.
In addition to clip-in/temporary extensions, we offer two different methods of application.
Our Classic method of application is the most common. The “fusion bond” sometimes called the “strand-by-strand” method is the most long lasting type of extensions available. We take real 100% human hair and apply it to your natural hair in tiny attachments - about the size of a grain of rice. They are virtually undetectable, easy to maintain and last in the hair 3-4 months or longer. It takes 2-3 hours to have the Classic Mermaid fusion bonds applied. We have 5 different packages to choose from, based on how much hair you want to add. The packages range in price from $175-$2,195.
The other type of extensions we offer is called the Instant Mermaid. We call it Instant because it only takes about an hour to get a full head of extensions, so you can have long hair instantly! These extensions are applied to your hair in 1 inch strips. They are sometimes called “seamless” extensions because they lay flat and seamlessly blend into your natural hair. They are real human hair, excellent quality and up to 20” long. The cost is $795 for a set. They remain in your hair for 6-8 weeks, and then you can come back and have them re-applied up to 2 more times for only $175.
Once the hair application process is complete your hair will be cut to the desired length and styled. We will send you home with a new hair brush and everything you need to take care of your new hair!
Whichever package you select, you will receive free hair cuts and maintenance for the life of your extensions. We will also remove them for free when you are ready to have them removed.To keep your extensions beautiful and healthy, we recommend using Mermaid Extension Care products at home. They are sulfate and paraben free and do not contain any harmful oils or silicones which can weaken the extension bonds or adhesives.
