How long have you been in business?
Some Like It Shot photographers have been in business since 2005.
What is your primary product or service?
Portraiture, Pet-ography, Vintage Pin Ups and Wedding photography
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started out as a hobbyist, photographer for dancers and for a dog rescue. Eventually this turned into a career after a few publications and requests to take people's photos. With classes at CSUN, UCSD, SDCCD, and through WPPI, PPA & PPSDC we have been well educated in photography and photoshop skills.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are the 2012 Animal Photographers of the Year in CA (PPC), the 2012 Heidi M Starlite Award for Wedding photo (PPC), & the 2012 DIgital Imaging Photographer of the Year, (PPSDC). Some Like It Shot has had over 100 images published in various publications. We are Animal lovers who have had two very unique background which help the many aspects of our style. Alisha was a dancer growing up and has a degree in Deaf Studies (and is certified ASL interpreter), Holland was a Ranger Sniper at Ft Lewis and has a BA in History & MA in Librarianship. We own 4 dogs and have found ways to infuse our history into our photography to constantly make it better.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We moved to Seattle January 1st 2013 after a decade in CA. Our photoshoots currently take place at outdoor locations or at client's homes. A few times a year we offer a special day where clients can come to a hosting location for their photos.

Which areas do you service?
The greater Seattle & Tacoma area, we are most closely located to Auburn/Federal Way but we do not mind driving within our range. We are open to traveling for weddings and have traveled to Wisconsin, Louisiana, California and even Europe for photography services.

The best compliment is a referral - something as easy as sharing our website, card or facebook. We prefer working with word of mouth, our clients are awesome people and their friends are usually too.
