We are a community of people who, like many before us, are striving to become the people we are created to be. We believe that the character and mission of God are revealed most fully in the person of Jesus Christ and through the Biblical writings, which communicate a message of hope and redemption for all humankind.
While we look to the Bible for truth, we need help to understand it and apply it to our lives. We seek guidance in conversation with God and one another, and with some of the great confessions of faith from the past. Our own mission statement is a kind of confession of who God is, and is calling us to be.
Most of all we believe this God is restoring broken people, in a broken world, to the purpose for which we were created. As we continue the conversation, honestly asking questions and seeking answers, we believe that the Holy Spirit reveals the timeless and transforming truth of God, and invites us to share it with the world.
