The High Alpine Chapel is located at Boehms Candies in Issaquah, WA. It is conveniently located just 20 minutes east of Seattle along Interstate 90.
The Boehms chapel is a replica of a 12th century chapel located in St. Moritz, Switzerland. The founder of Boehms Candies, Julius Boehm had the chapel built in 1981 in memory of fallen mountain climbers.
With a maximum occupancy of 48 people, the charm and character of the chapel make it perfect for small ceremonies and gatherings.
Our officiant is available to perform ceremonies at your location.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Marriage is such a profound statement of your relationship. I feel so lucky to part of the day you get married. I have been interested in the history of weddings, different cultures way of celebrating weddings that I chose to be an officiant. I feel so lucky to be in this profession.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I listen to the couple to see their view on marriage. I customize every ceremony I do, I do not perform the same ceremony twice. I give each couple a questionnaire so that I am able to know more about them, to incorporate their story into the ceremony. I have couples choose their own vows ( I give a list of vows which they can choose from or edit anyway they choose). I believe the vow you make to your partner should be your choice, as it is a life time promise!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
There is just one High Alpine Chapel! Our officiant will travel throughout Puget Sound to perform your ceremony at a location of your choice
